Future (Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn) is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter born in 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia. A dominant force in hip-hop and trap music, Future rose to fame in the early 2010s and is widely credited for popularising melodic trap and the use of Auto-Tune as an artistic tool. With a prolific output of albums, mixtapes, and collaborations, he has become one of the most influential artists of his generation.
